Key considerations for managing educational data are summarized below. In developing the above guidelines, the applicant will proceed while incorporating feedback from members of the Science Council of Japan’s Subcommittee on the Utilization of Educational Data (which the applicant chairs), as well as from experts serving on the Ministry of Education’s advisory panel on the appropriate use of educational data.

  • The project aims to clarify the distinctive characteristics of ELSI-related issues in Japan by surveying EdTech-related ELSI trends and practices in Europe and conducting comparative analyses.
