What is the LEAF System?
The LEAF (Learning and Evidence Analytics Framework) system is an infrastructure system that supports the collection and analysis of learning logs. It consists of a Learning Management System (LMS), a digital teaching material distribution system BookRoll; a learning record store (LRS), and a learning record analysis tool, LogPalette.
What is a Learning Management System (LMS)?
LMS is a platform for managing learners’ progress and teaching materials. It is the basis for e-learning, in which students learn via the Internet or smartphones.
What is a Learning Record Store (LRS)?
LRS is a database that stores learning activity data. In other words, it is educational big data.
The LEAF system enables collection and accumulation of educational data that could not be accomplished with paper media, and analyze that data scientifically to accurately grasp the current situation. By accurately grasping the progress and stumbling points of learners, learning issues in the class can be identified. Then further analysis can extract individual students and we will be able to provide personalized support to each student and teacher.
Through individually optimized teaching and learning methods, we aim to improve the qualities and abilities of students and, at the same time, improve classes and reduce the burden on teachers.
