BookRoll enables the digital distribution of teaching materials and the improvement of class through the evidence portal.
BookRoll is a system where teachers can upload and register textbooks and teaching materials, and students can view the teaching materials in their browsers and record activities such as turning pages and drawing markers as a “learning log.” BookRoll can be used to distribute teaching materials for both face-to-face and online classes and to analyze learning logs to help improve classes.
Teachers Educational resources such as digital text books and audio files uploaded and registered in BookRoll can be digitally distribution to students in their class.
Students Students can access and view the educational resources anytime, anywhere with a digital device.

BookRoll can integrate information from paper-based textbooks and handouts into digital materials on the device.
That helps teachers reduce their workload of preparing paper-based teaching materials and allows students not to carry around multiple textbooks.
Paper-based resources had to be «distributed→collected→checked→evaluated→returned» by teachers, and students were required to store them for future use. The digitization of learning materials enables teachers to concentrate on producing and delivering the resources. That also helps students to concentrate on using the materials.
BookRoll can provide assignments and sample solutions digitally. It helps students, even those who miss school or those who struggle to attend class, to learn synchronously online. This will reduce the disparity in learning between students who attend class and those who don’t. Students can study on their own schedule and can review whenever they would like to.
Students’ learning history is stored as data logs on BookRoll. When it is used in conjunction with the analysis tool, LogPalette, teachers can monitor the progress of each student as well as the entire class. The students too can use LogPalette to track their development of learning and see what other students are studying.
